Cyclone

The cyclone is a separator that uses centrifugal force to purify air loaded with chips or dust. Its performance depends on the rotation speed, density and grading of particles. Cyclones are available with a wide range of accessories.

•    Efficiency approx. 90% for particles above 15 micron.
•    Higher efficiency for large particles.
•    Built in 3 and 8 mm thick steel sheet depending on the size.
    
There are two general types of cyclones:  (1) high efficiency, and (2) low pressure.  High efficiency cyclones are tall, narrow units with a small diameter to elevation ratio.


Today, we predominantly use cyclone separators when dealing with large amounts of material, as a primary separator for exhaust and filter systems, or even to separate sparks or droplets. They work without additional cleaning technology using centrifugal separation. They function reliably, are low maintenance and are insensitive to irregular material flow. They are well known for their robust operation.

To achieve optimum separation efficiency, various models allow an adjustment to each set of operational circumstances (flow volume and level of material).

For customer-specific solutions, HAS.CO offers solidly built cyclone separators made of a variety of materials. On request they will be designed to be pressure-shock-resistant or can be supplied with wear protection.

Reverse air

Reverse Air (R/A)


When glass fiber fabrics were introduced, a gentler means of cleaning the bags, which may be a foot in diameter and 30 feet in length, was needed to prevent premature degradation.
Reverse-air cleaning was developed as a less intensive way to impart energy to the bags. In  Reverse-air cleaning, gas flow to the bags is stopped in the compartment being cleaned and
reverse (outside-in) air flow is directed through the bags. This reversal of gas flow gently collapses the bags toward their centerlines, which causes the cake to detach from the fabric
surface. The detachment is caused by shear forces developed between the dust and fabric as the latter changes its shape. Metal caps to support the bag tops are an integral part of the bag
as are several sewn-in rings that encircle the bags to prevent their complete collapse during cleaning. Without these rings, falling collected dust tends to choke the bag as the fabric collapses in on itself while cleaning.

jet pulse

The HSA range is a Pulse Jet dust collector. Special separation systems are required for very fine dust. It was built for continuous use in industrial process filtration and dust collection applications.

The gas to be filtered is fed to the outside of the filter bags in HSA industrial filters. The bags are intensively cleaned with pulses of compressed air during normal operation, synchronized to the operation in progress.

We make our filters using sophisticated modular technology, consisting of bent and bolted wall components. If minimum leakage is required, we can also seal the housing by welding from the inside. The filters are available in a range of heights and are designed for differing bag lengths and varying pressure levels

High temperature fan

HAS hot gas circulation fans is Effective for hot processes.
Our circulating fans can withstand temperatures of up to 850 °C  and are used for tempering, annealing and hardening, aluminum homojen & aging furnaces, as well as for core drying.
To operate the furnace system economically an even and fast exchange of heat is required. The air cooling system used by HAS has proved itself again and again under the toughest conditions. The HAS shaft cooling system prevents the transfer of heat from the furnace through the shaft to the particularly sensitive roller bearings.

The impeller has a special shape and is made of heat-resistant materials to allow high gas flow rates. This ensures that the material in the oven is quickly and evenly heated or cooled. The circulating fan impellers are tempered in the annealing furnace before final machining. This prevents warping when used at high temperatures. The long service life of HAS hot gas circulating fans is well known.

HSA high-pressure low speed centrifugal blower are compact and strongly built. Flat performance curves permit wide variations in the flow volume at a constant pressure increase.

HSA manufactures centrifugal blower in a strong, welded construction. The fan scroll of the single inlet centrifugal fan is arranged in front of the motor pedestal so that it can be rotated, which means the fan casing can be positioned in 45° steps.

Light impellers make for easy starting up, which is why we manufacture them not only in welded steel but also in welded alloy of aluminum .

HSA balances the impeller dynamically in two planes, and arranges it in an overhung position directly on the motor shaft end or the end of the drive shaft. The perfect balancing of impeller and casing keeps noise levels low. By loosening the mounting plate, the impeller can easily be inspected, fitted or removed.
